We’re delighted to announce that the Society of Genealogists has selected oomi as its new supplier of technology to support member management and engagement.
Founded in 1911, the Society of Genealogists (www.sog.org.uk) is a charity with a unique purpose – to help people discover their place in history. It preserves the records of everyday lives and makes them available to anyone wanting to understand where they’ve come from.
The Society provides a well-regarded programme of education and training enabling people to research their roots and to understand what they’ve found. Although UK based, it serves a diverse member community, across four continents, that includes experts, novices, published historians, and first-time tree-tracers.
The Society will be implementing the complete oomi membership management suite, including oomi CRM, an integrated members portal and website, and the oomi online communities platform. The goal of the new solution is to provide improved member insight through more effective customer behaviour tracking and meaningful reporting capabilities.
