CASME has chosen oomi to provide their new membership management system to support the continued growth of their international community of procurement professionals.
Established in 2003, CASME provides market insights, benchmarking and best practice procurement solutions to inspire procurement excellence. With over 16,000 active subscribers from 80 countries worldwide, the CASME community enables procurement professionals to keep in touch with the latest innovation and good practice in procurement, to share real-life experiences and benefit from peer-to-peer learning and networking.
Due to CASME’s membership growth projections, it was identified that a new membership management system was required. oomi CRM was selected after a rigorous tendering process involving consultant Ben Sturt from Chrysalis Digital and CASME’s internal management team, led by CASME’s internal procurement expert Graham Crawshaw and COO Ian Pescud.
“We selected oomi as we felt their system was more flexible and their user interface was more intuitive than others reviewed. Importantly, their team understood the membership sector and appreciated our needs and challenges,” said CASME Services Director, Graham Crawshaw. “As well as the system closely aligning with our needs, we also felt the oomi culture was very similar to ours.”
CASME will be implementing oomi’s core CRM along with various modules supported by web integration using oomi’s REST API tools to enable CASME to enhance their subscription service offering and better personalise their members’ experiences whilst improving back-office efficiencies and data flows from third party integrations, such as, Sage accounting software and Microsoft PowerBI.
To ensure successful development and implementation, CASME has engaged specialist digitalisation project manager Clare Bennett to be responsible for the delivery of the new system, and David Darton, an experienced CRM superuser joins the Operations team as a full-time CRM Manager with cross-functional responsibility to support all departments.
