role
As a part-time Marketing Executive, you will be working with our Marketing Manager, to assist the planning, implementing, and managing marketing activity that align with our business goals and help achieve our sales targets. You will ideally already have business acumen, and understand how marketing supports customers and new business alike. You will be very practical and personable, and relish the freedom and responsibility of executing marketing activities across a variety of channels, including email, social media and in-person events. You will need to be technically and data-savvy, and able to use a variety of tools to produce materials and reports. You will be UK based, ideally in the south London/Surrey area.
responsiblities
- Plan and execute marketing activity across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.
- Help develop and produce high-quality content, including customer case studies, whitepapers, social media posts, webinars, blogs, videos, and graphics.
- Maintain and update the company website.
- Plan and manage participation in conferences and exhibitions, and our own User Group meetings.
- Support internal sales, customer service and other team members with marketing and communications.
- Help ensure corporate branding and communications guidelines are followed.
- Produce monthly marketing metrics, generate reports, and provide
- actionable insights to improve ROI.
- Liaise with external partners, agencies, and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with our competitors, the latest marketing trends, tools, and technologies
- Participate in monthly marketing meetings.
qualifications / skills / experience requirements
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in a B2B and considered purchase setting
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including social media, and email marketing.
- Experience in graphic design or familiarity with design and editing tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, ClipChamp, and Powerpoint
- Technically-savvy, with experience in using marketing tools such as Google Analytics, CRM systems, webinar, email and social media management platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh ideas for marketing.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Experience with event planning and management.
- Ability to manipulate and analyse data using Excel/Sheets or similar.
- Some experience of telemarketing or pre-sales support or customer service.
